Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for Royal Mail in Kidderminster. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, with shifts from 08:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday plus weekend availability.

Starting immediately, you will sort and load mail at the local delivery office, then complete multi-drop rounds for letters and parcels. You will use a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, delivering on foot or by vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily and lifting bags up to 16kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred)
• License held for at least 6 months
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Start shift at local delivery office to sort and load deliveries
• Use handheld device for signature capture and navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle
• Lift mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg
• Ride or walk up to 8 miles per day and use delivery trolleys when required
