Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail operations in Redditch on a temporary basis. The role pays £13.69 per hour for 30 hours a week, with shifts from 08:00 to 14:00 as part of a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend availability.

You'll start at the local delivery office, sort and load mail, then use a handheld device for route navigation and signature capture, delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle while carrying mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (clean licence preferred).
• Customer service and ability to work outdoors.
• Good time management and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
