Job summary

Argyll and Isles Culture Heritage and Arts Assembly (CHARTS) is seeking an individual for a 25-hour per week operational management role in Oban. The role involves oversight of daily activities, management of operations staff, and alignment of projects with strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will need a personal license and a PVG or be willing to obtain them, showcasing flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities. Awareness of financial systems will be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate should hold a personal license and a PVG or be willing to obtain them.
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task in a primarily office-based role are required.
• Awareness of financial systems and SAGE is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operational activities.
• Line management of the centre’s operations staff.
• Provide a monthly report to the board of Trustees.
• Work with the board to align activities with strategic goals.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and emergency operations.
