Job summary

Arriva TrainCare is seeking a Specialist Nurse Practitioner SCPHN /OH on a part-time 21-hour week fixed-term contract for 12 months. Base locations include York, Sunderland (Doxford), Thurmaston, or London (Lacon House) with hybrid working and occasional travel.

You will provide expert occupational health advice to managers and HR, act as the external OH provider lead, oversee health surveillance and rehabilitation support, and contribute to wellbeing initiatives across Arriva.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
• Recognised Occupational Health qualification.
• Experience in case management, health surveillance and workplace adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert occupational health advice to managers, HR and leaders.
• Act as relationship lead for external OH providers and ensure service quality.
• Oversee health surveillance programmes and legal compliance across the business.
• Support workplace adjustments and sustainable returns-to-work processes.
• Contribute OH expertise to wellbeing initiatives and policy input.
• Support management of complex health cases and referral pathways.
• Utilise data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
