Job summary

Optima Health is seeking an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join our team across three sites (Morpeth, Gateshead and Sunderland). This permanent, part‑time role is 15 hours per week with Monday and Wednesday shifts, focusing on immunisations, health surveillance and vaccine administration.

You will be a Registered General Nurse with NMC registration and some injections experience; immunisations or venepuncture are desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with NMC registration.
• Some experience of delivering injections.
• Desirable - immunisations or venepuncture experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Occupational Health services and clinics with a focus on immunisations and vaccinations.
• Advise clients on immunisation services and recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct immunisation health assessments and surveillance related to work risks.
• Promote employee health and wellbeing across the business.
• Provide health education to maximise participation in activities at work and beyond.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team sharing knowledge and supporting peers.
• Maintain NMC registration and CPD standards.
