Pixieland Saltash is seeking a part-time Nursery Room Leader to join their friendly team. You will lead and support staff, plan activities, and maintain records of children’s development while liaising with families.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ level 3 in childcare or above.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in childcare.
• Referral programme.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting your team
• Creating programmes and activities for the children
• Keep records of children’s development and liaise with parents
• Upholding safeguarding practices with your team
• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children’s needs
• Supporting your team to develop their role with the help of your manager
• Complete transfer documents and ensure they meet EYFS requirements
