Childbase Partnership Ltd in Northampton is hiring a Nursery Assistant/Unqualified Nursery Practitioner. This permanent, part-time role covers 17.5 hours per week across mornings or afternoons, with pro-rata salary and a focus on supporting early years learning and safeguarding.

You will work as a Key Person, help plan and implement engaging activities, and collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure every child feels safe and valued.

Qualifikationen

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under, ideally in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS principles to enable planning and engaging activities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being.
• Collaborative with colleagues, families and partners to build strong relationships.

Aufgaben

• Support learning through play and planned activities as a Key Person.
• Assist with observations, assessments and recording children’s progress.
• Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children.
• Work with families and staff to support each child’s development.
