Job summary

Belong Macclesfield is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our not-for-profit, values-led care village. This 28.5-hour per week night role runs on a 3-night-per-week pattern, typically 10pm–8am, with weekend and bank holiday work expected.

You will provide gentle personal care, companionship, and vigilant wellbeing monitoring to residents in a warm, homely setting. We offer DBS checks, induction and shadow shifts, ongoing training, a pension, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience or Level 2 Care Certificate is required.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• We are unable to sponsor overseas applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, respectful personal care and support with night-time routines.
• Offer comfort and companionship to residents who may wake or need assistance.
• Monitor wellbeing and respond to individual needs with empathy and calm.
• Maintain a quiet, safe and homely environment.
• Keep accurate records to support high-quality care delivery.
