Job summary

Summerhill Services Limited is seeking a part-time Domestic/Housekeeper Assistant to support cleaning and domestic services at Tamarind Centre, a 89 bedded mental health hospital in Birmingham.

You will undertake duties including high-quality cleaning, pantry/kitchen support and use of appropriate cleaning equipment, with infection prevention and COSHH awareness. Previous NHS environment experience preferred; DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• General Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
• BICSc Certificate NVQ 1 & 2.
• Experience in NHS or care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to high standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Assist with pantry/kitchen duties.
• Follow infection control procedures.
