Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Band 5 Data Analyst to produce routine and ad hoc reports on access, waiting times, recovery and clinical outcomes. You will collect and validate data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable improvements for senior leaders and partner organisations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, numeracy and the ability to monitor performance against targets. DBS check is part of onboarding; right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with numerical skills required.
• Experience in analysing, interpreting and presenting information.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Produce routine daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on access, waiting times, recovery, clinical outcomes and performance.
• Collect, validate and submit data from electronic patient record systems and other sources.
• Analyse complex information, identify trends, investigate anomalies and resolve data quality issues.
• Monitor performance against local and national targets and flag emerging risks.
• Support the development of improvement plans.
• Provide analysis for senior managers, operational teams and partner organisations.
• Present findings in an accessible way for decision making.
• Contribute to audits, benchmarking, research and service improvement projects.
• Translate analysis into practical actions and act as the trusted data contact.
