Job summary

Riverford is seeking a Relief Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our employee‑owned team in Bodmin. You will deliver 70+ boxes daily, represent Riverford with a friendly, professional manner, and help maintain our high standards of service.

The role is permanent, 8 hours per week, typically Mondays with hours around 4am–6am; pay is £14.65/hour, paid monthly, and applicants should live within a 30‑minute commute of the Bodmin hub.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport to reach the hub.
• Experience with a 3.5‑tonne van and multi‑drop rounds (70+ drops per day preferred).
• Solid knowledge of the local area and strong customer service skills.
• Delivery role requires careful, responsible driving and a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 70+ veg boxes daily to customers' doors with care.

This role is a permanent contract, 8 hours per week - Working every Monday, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary, we usually arrive at the hub between the hours of 4am to 6am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered.

Location: To support a healthy work-life balance, we kindly ask that candidates live within a 30-minute commute of our Bodmin Hub: 11A Callywith Gate Industrial Estate, Bodmin, PL31 2RQ

What you’ll be doing…

As a Delivery Driver at Riverford, you’re more than just a pair of hands on the wheel. You’re the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. Each day, you’ll deliver 70 or more boxes, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers.

We’re looking for careful and responsible deliver drivers who know their way around a busy round and take pride in doing things well. It’s really beneficial if you have multi drop delivery experience, but we’re more interested in a calm head, a kind manner, and someone happy to muck in when it counts.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming and doing things the right way. It’s a role with real purpose, helping deliver the best of the season to people’s doors.

What we’re looking for

• Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub)
• 3.5-tonne van & multi-drop experience (70+ drops per day preferred)
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Good communication & customer service skills
