Job summary

East Lancashire Learning Group is seeking a PTHP Lecturer - Motor Vehicle to join the Accrington & Rossendale College campus on a part-time hourly paid basis. The role focuses on delivering Motor Vehicle curriculum with opportunities to teach across levels and support industry placements.

The successful candidate will have strong Motor Vehicle qualifications, teaching credentials or a plan to achieve them within three years, and a passion for inspiring learners.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
• Minimum level 3 qualification in related subject
• Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or willingness to achieve within three years
• Assessor and Verifier Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop the Motor Vehicle curriculum and employer relationships to support industry placements
• Teach on other Motor Vehicle programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3), up to 810 teaching hours per annum
• Plan and prepare high-quality teaching as required by the Line Manager
• Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining links across College
• Regularly assess students to track and monitor progress

Education
