Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is hiring a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams on a 30-hour per week contract. You will help deliver clean, safe environments for Defence-related sites and customers as part of our dedicated team.

Role involves morning shifts Monday to Friday, with a 49.2-week per year schedule. We value reliable, hands-on individuals who can adapt to busy facilities environments and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on, practical approach to work.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform other cleaning duties as required, including quick spill clean-ups.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
