Job summary

University of Plymouth is recruiting an Access and Participation Medicine and Dentistry Outreach Officer on a part-time, fixed-term basis. The role involves coordinating outreach activities to raise aspirations and progression for underrepresented learners, and delivering programmes like WAMS/WADS in collaboration with academic staff and external partners.

You will work on-site three days per week (flexible to remote work is limited) and will drive outreach activities with the university’s

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver outreach programmes for Medicine and Dentistry.
• Lead on planning, delivery and evaluation of widening participation activities.
• Develop engaging activities to raise awareness of pathways and careers in Medicine and Dentistry.
• Support WAMS and WADS programmes and liaise with stakeholders across campus and external partners.
• Monitor participation and measure impact to inform improvement.
