Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Media Production Technician on a part-time basis to join the Media Production team. This role will help capture high-quality audio and video content across studios, campus spaces and external locations for teaching, learning and University events.

You will edit and post-produce media, support live events, produce graphics, train staff and students, and stay updated with production tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• HND or demonstrable professional experience in media production.
• Strong communication and IT literacy are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality audio and video content in studios and on campus.
• Edit and post-produce media content, including colour grading and mastering.
• Support live events with camera operation and vision mixing.
• Create graphics and animations for teaching and promotional materials.
• Provide training and resources for staff and students.
