Job summary

Tutorage CIC in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time maths tutor to work on a 0.2–0.4 contract, delivering small group and 1:1 tuition in maths up to A-level.

The role requires a QTS and a STEM degree; recent experience is not essential, with willingness to adapt to pupils with diverse needs.

Hours will be negotiated, with some evenings and weekends; pay is prorated by hours and holidays are 30 days (full time) prorated.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS.
• Able to teach Maths up to A-Level.
• Experience with children with additional needs would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a range of educational activities to enhance learning in Maths.
• Provide 1 to 1 tutoring in Maths including planning.
• Conduct behaviour management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure smooth running of activities.
