Job summary

Tutor required to deliver 1:1 and small-group Maths tutoring for learners up to A-Level in Stafford. The role is part-time with a contract range of 0.2–0.4 and flexible evening/weekend availability.

Degree in a STEM subject and QTS are preferred, with prior experience around children and educational activities welcome. Salary is prorated based on agreed hours, and holidays are 30 days for full-time staff, prorated accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience with diverse learners is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a range of educational activities to enhance learning in Maths.

Job description

We are looking for a part time maths tutor who is able to work between a 0.2 and a 0.4 contract to teach small group and 1-1 tuition. Applicants must be able to teach up to A-level maths but recent experience is not essential. Ideally we are looking for a candidate with a degree in a STEM subject.

Pay is prorated dependant on agreed hours. Holidays are 30 days (full time) prorated.

The hours are to be set on negotiation with some evening and weekend work. The position is available to start asap but for the right candidate we can hold the position until after Christmas.

We are seeking a friendly, patient and versatile teacher to join our team. They will tutor students on a 1:1 and small group basis in Maths. They will also help to oversee the planning and implementation of diverse educational and recreational activities for children. The ideal candidate must have QTS and be able to teach up to A-Level in Maths. In addition experience working with children with additional needs and alternative provisions would be beneficial.
