Job summary

Homes for Students is the UK’s leading provider of student accommodation. We currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance Operative at our The Sail Works property in Lancaster working 20 hours per week, 9.00am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday.

You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance within the Property and will be responsible for ensuring that statutory compliance is maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of property maintenance within a similar environment or qualified in a trade with ability to work across trades.
• Knowledge of safe working methods including COSHH, Manual Handling, and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance at the property.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Report and respond to issues promptly and liaise with suppliers/contractors.
