Job summary

Prospect House Primary School is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser to join our dedicated team in Higher Blackley, Manchester. This part-time, permanent role is 13 hours per week during term time, with a starting salary of £8,098 and a full-time equivalent of £26,016.

You will help ensure pupils are safe, engaged and enjoy their lunchtime break. The role involves supervising the dining hall and playground, supporting healthy eating, assisting with feeding and personal care where needed (training

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient and a strong team player
• Reliable and committed to wellbeing of children
• Clear communication and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work with staff, children and stakeholders
• Willing to undertake relevant training including personal care and specialist equipment
• Awareness of safeguarding policies
• First aid qualification is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Support pupils over lunchtime to keep them safe and engaged
• Supervise dining hall and playground activities
• Assist with feeding, toileting and changing when required (training provided)
• Support lunchtime clubs and keep a calm, positive environment
• Work with teaching staff and other lunchtime organisers
• Deliver first aid and comfort pupils during minor accidents when needed
