Job summary

Darwin Escapes is hiring a Lifeguard at Cheddar Woods Holiday Park. You will monitor the pool and leisure facilities, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment while upholding high standards of cleanliness and service.

Role requires a valid NPLQ, availability on weekdays and weekends, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed. £12.71 per hour on a fixed term, part-time contract with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
• Flexibility to pick up additional cover shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool and leisure area to ensure guest safety.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Enforce pool rules and promote safe behaviour.
• Carry out water quality checks and record readings.
• Maintain poolside cleanliness and tidiness.
• Set up and close down pool and leisure facilities per procedures.
• Assist guests with friendly and helpful service.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow health and safety, safeguarding and company procedures.
