We're looking for a Lifeguard to join our team at Cheddar Woods Holiday Park on a fixed term, part time contract. As a Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests using our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll maintain constant vigilance, enforce pool rules, and respond quickly and confidently in emergency situations. Alongside your safety responsibilities, you'll help maintain a clean, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests, contributing to an exceptional leisure experience. This role requires availability to work both weekdays and weekends, with a flexible approach to picking up additional cover shifts when required.
- Supervise the pool and leisure area to ensure the safety of all guests at all times
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and provide first aid when required
- Enforce pool rules and promote safe behaviour within the facility
- Carry out regular water quality checks and record readings as required
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the poolside and surrounding areas
- Set up and close down the pool and leisure facilities in line with procedures
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests using the facilities
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all health and safety, safeguarding and company procedures consistently
- Be flexible and willing to pick up additional cover shifts where required, We're looking for a qualified Lifeguard to join our team at Cheddar Woods on a fixed term, part time basis. You'll help ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests across the pool and leisure facilities, while providing a friendly and welcoming experience. This role requires a valid NPLQ, availability to work weekdays and weekends, and flexibility to pick up additional cover shifts when required. A current and valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential
