Job description

Job Title: Legal Secretary

Office Angels are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established Scottish law firm located in the heart of Aberdeen City Centre. This role offers flexible working hours of 20 hours per week, with various possible schedules such as three full days, five mornings or afternoons, or accommodating school hours. The client is open to discussing a working pattern that suits the individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and registering Dispositions
  • Ordering redemption statements
  • Managing post-completion follow-up documentation
  • Audio and copy typing
  • Lodging Advance Notices
  • Updating clients on case progress
  • Liaising with other parties to meet deadlines

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in conveyancing or private client work within the Scottish legal system
  • Knowledge of LBTT
  • Audio typing, copy typing, and dictation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

*Previous employment in a professional services or legal environment is preferred.*
