Hours: 31.25 per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for 39 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to work with a range of children across the school. You will work closely with Class Teachers and the SENCo to provide learning support in a range of situations including individual and small group internventions out of class and 1:1 support in class. This will be a varied and rewarding role.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a high level of empathy and compassion;
  • have the ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and children;
  • have experience of and is confident in supporting children's special educational needs, including social & emotional;
  • be prepared to take on any educational training as required;
  • remain calm in challenging situations and work closely as part of a team;
  • liaise with and report to the class teacher and SENCo;
  • be flexible and solutions focused;
  • have good initiative;
  • have GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths;
  • have a good sense of humour!
