Job summary

Priory Hospital Kemple View in West Wick seeks a part-time principal psychologist to lead psychology for a designated ward in a level 2 rehabilitation and secure service for adult men. HCPC registered, you will supervise, assess, formulate and provide individual and group interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver tailored psychological input, supervise staff, and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration and be registered as a psychologist.
• Experience leading psychology for a ward or service within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience delivering cognitive and other psychotherapies with complex clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead psychology provision for a designated ward or patient group.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate care plans.
• Deliver individual and group psychological interventions.
• Provide high quality psychological input considering risks and needs.
• Work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Help develop the psychology service within the hospital.
