Job summary

Springcare Ltd in Lewes is seeking two part-time Ancillary Assistants to join our kitchen team. You will assist with preparing and serving hot and cold meals, support the head cook, and help keep the kitchen and equipment spotless in line with food hygiene rules. You’ll learn on the job, work alongside a caring team, and help meet residents’ dietary needs.

• Be positive, enthusiastic and professional with excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to go above and beyond to ensure residents receive high quality service.
• Two written references and a right to work in the UK (and DBS check where required).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
• Assisting the head cook to ensure food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean to food hygiene standards.
• Maintaining records of food supplies and temperatures under supervision.
• Being aware of residents' dietary preferences and requirements.
