Job summary

Falmouth University seeks a lecturer to join the School of Architecture, Design & Interiors, teaching interior architecture and design while guiding students through contemporary practices and professional contexts.

You will contribute to shaping a rapidly evolving course focused on sustainable, socially engaged design, fostering critical thinking and hands-on making in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Comprehensive and current knowledge of interior architecture and interior design, with understanding of contemporary spatial practice, materiality and sustainability.
Strong design development and communication skills to translate concepts into spatial proposals.
Experience with contemporary digital and/or analogue design processes and fabrication methods.
Active interest in development of the discipline through professional, research or creative practice.

Responsibilities

Teach and mentor students in interior architecture/design across disciplines.
Develop and update course content to reflect contemporary practice and technologies.
Support interdisciplinary collaboration and industry engagement within the School of Architecture, Design & Interiors.
