Job summary

Falmouth University is seeking enthusiastic Associate Lecturers in Interior Architecture & Interior Design to contribute to teaching across undergraduate modules and to support studio-based learning and assessment at the Cornwall campus. The role is fixed-term, part-time and hourly-paid, allowing professionals to connect teaching with ongoing practice.

The successful candidate will bring current knowledge of interior architecture, interior design and spatial design, with strong communication

Qualifications

Relevant educational and/or professional background in interior architecture, interior design, spatial design or related discipline.
Effective communicator able to engage students in group and individual teaching.
Ability to adapt approach to support students at different stages of development and help them build confidence.
Experience in higher education teaching with awareness of academic quality, assessment and student experience.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary course team across modules and teaching activities.

Responsibilities

Teach across undergraduate modules and support studio-based learning.
Provide tutorials, workshops, design development and assessment.
Support student learning and development and relate professional practice to learning outcomes.
