Job summary

Falmouth University in Cornwall is seeking a Lecturer to join the School of Architecture, Design & Interiors. You will teach interior architecture and interior design, shaping contemporary practice and enabling students to connect ideas with professional methods.

The role is fixed-term for 12 months, part-time at 21 hours per week, based on our Falmouth campus. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, support diverse learners and contribute to innovative design education.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching interior architecture or interior design in higher education or professional practice.
• Knowledge of contemporary spatial practice and sustainability.
• Ability to translate concepts into spatial proposals using visual/material methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and studio-based teaching within the School of Architecture, Design & Interiors.
• Support students to develop a personal design voice and critical thinking.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with industry partners.
• Contribute to course development focusing on contemporary practice and technology.
