Job summary

Conveyancing Home in North Leeds is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join on a part-time basis. The role develops people strategies, advises Directors, and ensures compliant HR practices while balancing commercial aims with compassionate people leadership.

You’ll partner with senior management and support the business through employee relations, workforce planning and development initiatives, offering pragmatic, hands-on HR guidance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience advising senior managers and Directors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors and Team Managers to develop people strategies and plans.
• Provide expert HR advice across employee relations, including complex cases.
• Support organisational development, restructuring and change initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, identify skills gaps and training needs.
• Oversee performance management, goal setting and development.
• Coach managers to improve leadership and engagement.
• Utilize HR data to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain HR policies in line with employment law.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle confidential employee matters with discretion.
