Job summary

Butler Rose is exclusively partnering with a care organisation to recruit an experienced HR Executive. This standalone role leads the HR function, advising the CEO and senior leaders while shaping people strategy across multiple sites.

The role requires autonomy, UK employment law knowledge, and capability in handling complex ER matters. It is office-based, part-time (3 days/week), with a pro rata salary of £50,000–£60,000 FTE.

Qualifications

• Experience at HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• The ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
• Experience drafting HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management and employee exits.
• Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and capability issues.
• Managing HR policies, procedures and employment contracts, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Overseeing sponsorship licence administration and visa compliance processes.
• Supporting organisational change, employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Producing HR reports and workforce analytics for the leadership team.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Maintaining compliance with employment law, GDPR and sector-specific regulations.
