Job summary

Humbercare Ltd in Hull is seeking a Part-Time Housing Assistant (22 hours) to support women with complex needs through intensive housing management and tailored support. The role involves engaging with service users on a weekly basis, promoting independent living and preventing homelessness within a responsive, client-centered framework.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in social care or similar environment, preferably with women.
• Knowledge of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care Principles and Practice.
• Working knowledge of person-centred, strengths-based approaches to support and care planning.
• Team working experience in complex, pressurised situations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide a programme of intensive housing management to service users.
• Deliver housing management to support women with complex needs to prevent homelessness and develop independent living skills.
• Engage with service users weekly to support independent living in the community.
• Provide a high-quality service and act as ambassador for Humbercare and point of contact for customers.
