Job summary

Advinia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our care home environments. You will help maintain clean bedrooms, corridors and public spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation for residents and staff.

The role emphasises teamwork, reliability and a proactive approach. We provide induction, ongoing training, uniform and a supportive working environment within our UK care home network.

Responsibilities

• Keeping bedrooms, corridors and public areas clean to the required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including emptying waste bins, wiping surfaces, vacuuming and mopping).
• Cleaning dining rooms, lounges and lavatories, taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings and polishing as needed.
• Weekly cleaning tasks including mirrors, handrails, radiators and furniture dusting.
• Restocking toiletries, towels and related supplies as required.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties and keeping storage tidy at all times.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
