Homes for Students is the UK’s leading independent provider of student accommodation. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at our Gillows property based in Lancaster, working 20 hours per week, 9.00am-1.00pm Monday to Friday.

You will carry out planned and reactive cleaning across student buildings, including common areas, kitchens, offices and toilets, with replenishment of consumables to a high standard of hygiene.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to contribute to targets and deliver excellent results.
• Excellent communication and ability to provide an outstanding customer service.
• Effective team member with a flexible approach to work and colleagues.
• Ability to undertake manual work to a high standard.
• Commitment to undergo further training through operational requirements and personal staff development.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas to a high standard across the property.
• Replenish consumables and maintain hygiene in kitchens and toilets.
• Carry out planned and reactive cleaning duties throughout the property.
• Support the summer turnaround by preparing for new student intake.
