Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society in Blackpool is seeking a Housekeeper and Cook to prepare wholesome meals for up to nine residents and provide a friendly, supportive presence. The role emphasises resident wellbeing within a warm, community-focused environment.

Working 24 hours per week on a permanent part-time basis, you will be paid £13.61 per hour and rotate shifts from 8:30am to 5:30pm in a two-week cycle. Training for Outlook/Excel is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Cooking for up to 9 residents.
• Strong organizational skills for varied tasks.
• Excellent customer service for older people.
• Basic computer skills; Outlook and Excel training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome, home-cooked meals for residents.
• Act as a friendly face and provide resident support.
• Assist with general wellbeing and raise issues when needed.
