Job summary

NTW Solutions Limited is recruiting a Domestic Assistant at Carleton Clinic, Carlisle, for a 17.5 hour per week rolling rota (3pm-6:30pm). Band A pay (£12.92 per hour) with a 25% enhancement on Saturdays and Sundays.

The post is NHS-facing and involves supporting ward, office and public areas maintenance. You will join a team delivering clean, safe environments across the site, contributing to high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy are essential.
• Experience in cleaning is welcome; training provided if needed.
• Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and ensure safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks in offices, corridors and ward areas.
• Dust, polish, hoover and mop floors and surfaces.
• Follow instructions and routines with minimal supervision.
• Be respectful and caring toward patients and staff.
• Use cleaning products safely according to COSHH rules.
• Support infection prevention and control guidelines.
• Complete paperwork and quality checks as required.
• Assist with audits and inspections and training as needed.
