Job summary

B&Q Milton Keynes is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis (15/20 hours per week). You will be an approachable expert, helping customers with home improvement needs, assisting with stock, displays and maintaining store presentation.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7.00am to 8.00pm. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting may be offered, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing person who enjoys helping others and working in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.
• Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and assist customers with home improvement needs.
• Manage stock, set up displays and ensure the store looks tidy and inviting.
• Be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting; deliver great customer service.
