Job summary

B&Q New Malden is looking for a Customer Advisor to join the team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will engage customers, understand their home improvement needs and share product knowledge. You’ll help with stock, displays and store presentation, with training available in paint-mixing and timber cutting.

A flexible rota includes weekends and bank holidays. You’ll be part of a welcoming team in a busy store, supported to develop customer service

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to help customers.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Willing to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with home improvement projects and provide product advice.
• Manage stock, set up displays, and keep the store looking presentable.
• Opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting; customer service is the main focus.
