Job summary

B&Q Cambridge is seeking a Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (15 hours per week). You’ll be an expert advisor helping customers with home improvement ideas, advice and products, including stock management and display setup.

Shifts span Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm, with a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.91, with a store location allowance, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing and eager to learn, with a passion for helping customers.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing shifts.
• Interest in home improvement and desire to develop new skills such as paint-mixing and timber-cutting.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with home improvement projects and provide product advice.
• Assist with stock management and setting up displays to keep the store looking inviting.
• Deliver great customer service as the main goal of your shift.
