Job summary

The Willows Academy in Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, is seeking a part-time HLTA to complement teaching staff and support learning across our one-form entry school. You will assist with planning, resource management and pupil welfare, helping staff raise attainment for all pupils.

You will work closely with teachers to monitor and assess progress, supervise classes during short-term absences, and promote inclusive practice within a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or willingness to train
• Experience supporting pupils and teachers in planning, monitoring and assessment

Responsibilities

• Complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and help develop support staff
• Assist with planning cycle and management/preparation of resources
• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence
• Support pupils, teachers and the academy to raise standards of achievement
• Support pupil welfare and inclusion across academy life
