Adams Morey in Plymouth is seeking a reliable Part-Time HGV Driver & Workshop Support Operative to join the team. The role suits a semi-retired individual with a mechanical background, offering 24 hours per week across 3 days, with a £14.00 per hour salary.

Responsibilities include vehicle collection/delivery, supporting workshop operations, basic vehicle checks, and preparing vehicles for MOT tests. A DBS check is essential, and there are extensive company benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or 2).
• Experience in a similar vehicle/workshop role preferred.
• Mechanical or technical background desirable.
• Flexible and dependable approach to work.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of commercial vehicles as required.
• Support workshop operations with vehicle movements.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report issues.
• Present a vehicle for MOT testing with DVSA tester cooperation.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
