Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's Chartwells division is recruiting an ambitious Head Chef for a part-time role contracted to 30 hours per week, with a 43.6 week/year schedule. You will lead the kitchen, craft exceptional menus, and drive quality across every service.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, have strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in head chef roles within education catering. DBS checks may apply.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience as Head Chef in a similar environment.
• Ability to manage budgets and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food and delight clients.

• Manage orders, stock, and waste control.
• Maintain hygiene and health and safety standards.
