Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Leicester for delivering groceries directly to customers' doors. You’ll operate a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van with care, uphold high service standards, and manage routes and deliveries efficiently.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week), fixed-term until 20 March 2027, with flexible shifts and mandatory safety checks. A valid UK/EU licence, Right to Work, and safety‑driven attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Able to drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and deliver groceries safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a timely and friendly manner.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and perform pre‑trip checks.
• Follow planned routes, maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and assist customers as needed.
• Communicate delays or issues to customers clearly and accurately.
• Support store operations when not delivering.
