Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for our Worksop store. This part-time role involves delivering groceries directly to customers in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, with shifts including Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

You will ensure safe, friendly service and support store operations when not delivering. The position is a fixed-term assignment ending 26 December 2026, with driving checks, Right to Work, and a valid UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in great condition
• Perform van checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness and order integrity
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and deliver to properties with steps or longer walks
• Communicate with customers about delays and changes to orders
• Assist across the store when not out delivering
