Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Associate to provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Grocery Center. You will help maintain shelves, stock from tag to tag, and ensure saleable merchandise is properly displayed.

You will operate store tools, follow company guidelines, and uphold Food Safety and Workplace Safety procedures. High school diploma preferred; training provided for related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department.
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock from tag to tag.
• Ensure saleable merchandise is on shelves and policies followed.
• Operate computer-based systems and tools as required (ACIS, CAO).
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and dress code; report accidents.
