Job summary

Canon Slade School seeks a Clerk to the Canon Slade Trustees. The role is 7.5 hours per week, permanent, with term-time-plus-5-days, and a salary band of £26,847–£29,071 per year. The actual salary range is £4,659.96–£5,045.98. Immediate start available.

The successful candidate will support governance processes, maintain confidentiality and liaise with school and external bodies. This is a trusted Trustee clerking post within a C of E multi-academy trust.

Qualifications

• Experience of financial administration/clerking or secretarial duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and organisational support to the Chair and other Canon Slade Trustees, ensuring confidentiality. Liaise with bodies such as the school, HMRC, Charities Commission and the auditors.
• To provide advice and guidance to the Canon Slade Trust on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
