Kent Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Fleet Driver to support the Fleet & Equipment Services Team. You will drive a range of vehicles including LGVs, vans, trucks and hybrids, and handle administrative tasks to keep fleet systems up to date.

Base location is Maidstone with mobile work across Kent. Part-time 14.8 hours (Thursday and Friday) with a family of benefits including LGPS pension and holiday entitlement.

Formación

• Experience in driving various vehicle types including LGVs, vans and trucks.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance.
• Competence with office IT and fleet management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and deliver vehicles including LGVs from KFRS stations or other locations as per schedule and procedures.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tyres, lights, etc.) and log defects.
• Take delivery of hire/new fleet vehicles and carry out routine inspections.
• Update fleet databases and respond to emails/phone calls; support planning of daily activities.
• Contribute to day-to-day activity planning and coordination.
