A rare opportunity for a Part-time Finance Assistant has come up in Cambridge, working for a fantastic business based near Cambridge North.

This is a busy and varied role, focused around accounts payable and receivable, along with supporting with the smooth running of the finance department.

Duties will include:

• Manage financial transactions and queries
• Day to day recording and reporting of income including invoicing
• Manage the purchase ledger from purchase orders through to payment of suppliers
• Input banking transactions and reconcile
• Prepare year end files for auditors
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Credit control
• Data input and project work when required
• Continuous improvement around processes

We're looking for someone who is proactive, a good organiser, has high attention to detail and is a team player.

• Experience of working in a finance function ideally
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience of using Xero would be an advantage
