Job Description:

Financial Administrator - 12-month contract

Part-Time: 20–25 hours across 5 days

Location: Swansea

Salary: £25-26,000 based on full-time hours

This role is to cover a period of maternity leave for at least 12 months. It offers a great opportunity for an organized administrator to join a Swansea-based organization on a part-time basis. You should be highly organized, passionate about customer service, and committed to delivering excellence to clients and customers alike.

This role is within a finance team; you will need a good understanding of bookkeeping processes, either from studies such as AAT or through experience in a finance role.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Cash management & Credit Control
  2. Daily cash and bank reconciliations
  3. Payment allocation and management of client balances
  4. Customer accounts administration and maintenance
  5. Invoicing
  6. Supporting the wider finance function, including accounts payable

Note: You do not need to have prior finance experience to be suitable for this role, but you should be a proven administrator with experience in an office environment and an understanding of the financial principles behind sales and purchase ledger processing.
