Job summary

Robertson Facilities Management is seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain our facilities across the UK. The role covers security and access, health and safety, routine maintenance, cleaning and porterage, ensuring our sites are safe, tidy and welcoming.

Hours: 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri 2:30pm–6:30pm). Salary: £13.54 per hour. We value teamwork, safety and delivering high-quality service to colleagues and customers.

• Relevant practical experience.
• Experience working unsupervised.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out policies and procedures for security, access, maintenance, repair and health and safety.
• Operate day-to-day maintenance of plant and report faults to line manager.
• Clear snow and grit as required; litter pick as needed.
• Receive deliveries and arrange storage of materials and goods.
• Carry out porterage duties as required.
• Undertake emergency cleaning duties during operating hours; maintain environs.
• Perform minor repairs and report major issues per procedures.
• Ensure services meet customer service standards and procedures.
• Monitor limited budgets; handle cash, cheques and financial data.
• May supervise staff and undertake additional duties within grade.
