Job summary

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking an Extra Care Support Worker for Hawthorn Court, Keynsham. The role is 21.87 hours per week with a rota covering mornings and evenings (07:30-14:00 and 14:30-21:30) and every other weekend with bank holiday shifts that include enhancements.

Extra Care Housing supports adults with some care needs in self-contained flats. Full training will be provided and DBS checks are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
• Commitment to delivering quality care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist tenants with personal care activities including washing, hygiene and dressing.
• Promote tenants' independence, dignity and respect by delivering high standards of care.
• Complete accurate and timely records of care provided to tenants.
